Guangzhou English Boarding School, China Exchange
- Thursday 10th July - Wednesday 16th July 2008 and
- Monday 6th October - Wednesday 15th October 2008
Rainford High Technology College has recently formed a link with Guangzhou English Boarding School, a very wealthy boarding school in Southern China, and in July, 15 of their students will be visiting Rainford High. Some of our students have been invited back to the boarding school (approximately 2 hours from Hong Kong) for 7 days in October.
This is a trip of a lifetime for our students but we need to raise extra funds towards the cost of this trip. We are therefore looking for sponsorship from local companies etc, so if you are involved with or know anyone who would be willing to support this event, please contact Mrs Aylward, Teacher of MFL, at school (email ayl@rainford.org.uk).
We will also be holding raffles, auctions etc over the coming months so if you are able to donate any prize that could be included, we would be most grateful. Details of any fund raising events will be advertised on the school web-site and in High Notes.
Thanking you in advance for any support you are able to give.
