Joseph Delaney Inspiration

What an exciting day everyone had on Thursday, 10th July! The acclaimed children’s author Joseph Delaney spent the morning with students telling us all about the inspiration for his books and just how he manages to write them. At the end of the session he kindly signed copies all of his books and gave students all kinds of advice. There are still a few copies left – so hurry and buy your signed book now!

'… I heard rustling. I turned round really quickly but there was nothing there. I turned back round to Mother Malkin’s grave and there were two boney wrinkly hands gripping the bars. They were dirty and the finger nails were brown and horrid. I stepped back. Then I heard a voice. “Hello, little boy, come closer and let me see you”’.
