We are very excited to welcome local radio station Wish FM to our school for a full day of activities on Monday 8th September as part of their schools tour.
Selected students from Art, Media and Music departments, Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 will take part in sessions such as 'How to be a presenter' run by Wish FM's Breakfast presenter Chris Milow and will have the opportunity to create their own radio show and learn about designing promotional trails.
Over lunchtime Chris and our students will be broadcasting live from the Wish FM Truck to the whole school who are invited along to enjoy some music and chat! (In the caged area)
In the afternoon students will be challenged to write a promotional script to advertise our schools Open Evening on the 25th September. The winning team will attend Wish FM's studios to record and produce their script. From Friday 12th September the finished radio ad will be played live on Wish FM for two weeks building up to our Open Evening.
We are sure it will be an enjoyable experience for all!
