Parental Survey Feedback 2007
Many thanks to all the parents who completed the questionnaires in April. Your overall satisfaction rating was 71.8% with school security, exam results and computer access scoring most highly. The areas of least satisfaction are community spirit, availability of resources and school facilities.
Your views correlate very closely with those of students and staff and all 3 areas feature in our plans for improving the school further.
A rolling programme for improving school facilities has been a key feature of our SIP for the last 2 years and will continue into next years plan, with improved toilet facilities as the priority area. Developing community spirit will also be included in this year’s school improvement plan, with particular emphasis on citizenship. In setting this year’s budget, Governors have made additional funds available for classroom resources.
As a valuable part of our school self evaluation process, we plan to hold these in depth surveys every 2 years. In the meantime, if you have any comments regarding the relative strengths and weaknesses of the school, please do not hesitate to contact me: hls@rainford.org.uk.
