El día 2 de noviembre RHTC recibió a una visitante de Valencia - Nuria!!!Nuria es amiga de la Sra Aylward desde hace 15 anos y es profesora de inglés en Valencia, Espana.
Se encontró con dos estudiantes del cole - Hannah y Chelsey - y pasaron más de 2 horas hablando de los temas en preparación para el examen del nivel AS. También Nuria les regaló un DVD y el turrón (que fue delicioso).
Además, Nuria echó un vistazo por el insti y fue muy impresionada por las instalaciones que tenemos.
Fue introducida a algunos profesores y comentó que somos super elegantes - vestidos en trajes dado que en Espana los profes pueden llevar ropa muy casual tal como vaqueros.
Va a quedarse en contacto con las estudiantes y nos gustaría dar las gracias a Nuria para toda su ayuda en ese día tan especial para nosotros! Hasta la próxima!!!
On Friday 2nd Nov Rainford welcomed a visitor from Valencia - called Nuria. Nuria has been a friend of Mrs Aylward's for 15 years now and she is an English teacher in Valencia, Spain.
She met up with 2 students from college - Hannah and Chelsey - and spent more than 2 hours discussing AS level topics. Nuria also brought them a DVD and some turrón - (a Spanish type of nougat - that was delicious).
In addition, Nuria had a look around the school and was really impressed by its facilities.
She met a few staff - who managed to say Hola and Adiós - and she commented on how smart we dress because in Spain the staff are allowed to wear casual clothes such as jeans and don't dress as smartly.
She is going to keep in contact with the y12s and we would like to thank her for her time and help that she gave on the special day that she spent with us. Can't wait for the next time!!!!
