Operation Christmas Child 2007
This year we have had a tremendous response in the shoebox appeal from staff, students, parents and members of the public—over 300 boxes were collected. I don’t know where to start saying ‘thank you’ …….
All the boxes were loaded into a minibus by the Year 11 students .. thank you to them. Year 7 students alone collected 112 boxes .. brilliant effort. 8SMP 18 boxes, 8ETC 17 boxes and 8WNM collected over £60 from Year 8 students, again a brilliant effort. A big thank you to Dillan Ainscough in 8ETC for giving his time and skills to help me at lunchtimes and at breaktimes.
More than 300 children in Eastern Europe will have a Happy Christmas because of your efforts.
