
I am pleased to inform you that the school has now received confirmation of our successful assessment against the Investors in People standard. Part of the Executive summary states:
“The overarching strength is high quality leadership and management effectiveness, driven by a dedicated Principal, Senior Leadership Team and with whole hearted commitment and support from Governors and all staff. Leadership strength is complemented by the effectiveness and role modeling of Heads of Departments, Team Leaders and Managers interviewed who had developed initiatives, motivated and empowered their teams and achieved/exceeded targets.”
It concludes:
“The organisation has established a culture amongst its staff, parents, governors, students that engages everyone in the decision making processes at appropriate levels. The emphasis on CPD ensured a diverse range of high quality training and development was available to all to benefit from.

Your Views Matter
To help us to develop and improve further, we are seeking your views on the quality of the educational experience your child receives. Last year we engaged Kirkland Rowell Marketing to undertake surveys of parent, student and staff views, the results of which informed our School Improvement Planning process and helped us to achieve our Investors In People status. As such a valuable aid to school improvement, we have decided to conduct these surveys annually.
Your child will complete a questionnaire on Thursday 10th April during the form tutor period and will bring home a parent questionnaire. I would be grateful if you could spend a few minutes of your time to complete this and return it to school with your child on Monday 14th April. Please help us in our drive to move forward.
