The students visited FACT in Liverpool (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) and spent the morning with the artist in residence, Radamés Ajna, participating in a workshop and skill-learning activities. One of the activities included working with a green screen, understanding how it is used in the production of special effects. Students also had the opportunity to explore newly developed image software which manipulated the pixels within images. Students then experimented with swapping, adding and deleting sections of coding.
This was a great opportunity for the students at Rainford High School to learn new creative skills combining Art and digital technologies.
