Year 11 Mock – Key Notices

·       All exams will take place in the sports hall unless specified on the timetable.

·       Morning exams will begin at 9am- when you have a morning exam, go straight to the canteen – you will be registered in your exam.

·       Afternoon exams will begin at 1pm, as they will in your real exams. When you have an afternoon exam, you will leave period 4 and have an early lunch at 12.15. When you’ve eaten, please make your way into the auditorium at 12.45 (when the bell goes for the school lunchtime) where I/ your class teacher will be waiting to send you into your exam.

·       Spanish is the only subject where exams begin at 11.30pm. Spanish students- make your way to the canteen at 11.20pm for your reading exam, and straight to the college at 11.20pm for your listening exam.

·       For Music practical and Spanish speaking exams, you must make an appointment slot with your teacher over the 2 and a half day period – make sure they don’t clash!

·       You are all responsible for your exams. This includes bringing the correct equipment, arriving on time and knowing your seat numbers. You have done this process once before so there are no excuses.

·       All Y11 students will be off timetable/ have no exams on Wednesday 6th December for ‘Y11 Be Brilliant Day’ which will focus on careers and your next steps after leaving us next summer.

·       All Y11 students will be off timetable/ have no exams on the morning of Wednesday 13th December to participate in a workshop with an external company.

·       GCSE mock exam results day will take place on Wednesday 20th December.

·       The revision timetable has been published in a separate document. All revision sessions are in place now and will run after half term and through your mock exams. These will continue after Christmas in preparation of your summer exams – please use the timetable to plan accordingly which sessions you will be attending. Remember; don’t go to your favourite subject just because it’s easier!

Remember, these results will be used for college applications, so you need to show how fabulous you are! Good luck J
